一、教学内容

Fun time  & Cartoon time

二、教学目标

1. 能听懂、会读、会说、会写单词:cup, glass, juice, milk, noodles, rice, hamburger, sandwich.

2. 能理解、区分并正确运用可数名词和不可数名词。

3. 能熟练地运用句型点餐和提供服务:What would you like? I’d like …, please.  …, please. Can I help you?

4. 能理解Cartoon time的内容并熟练表演对话。

5. 能运用所学句型进行点餐和提供点餐服务。

1. 能理解Cartoon time的内容并熟练表演对话。

2. 能运用所学句型进行点餐和提供点餐服务。

四、教学难点

1. 能区分并正确运用可数名词和不可数名词。

2. 能综合运用所学单词与句型进行点餐和提供点餐服务。

1.师生各自准备一套实物卡片。

六、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1.      Good afternoon, boys and girls. I’m happy to be your English teacher. But I know little about you. Would you please play a game with me?

2.      Play the game: Toss a rabbit

There’s a toy rabbit. If you get it, please say something to introduce yourself to me. Just like what your name is, what you can do and what you like.

3.      Thank you for your corporation.

Step 2 Revision

1.      Look here, Mike, Helen and Dad are at a snack bar. What would they like? Do you remember? Please think and match, then tell us ‘ … would like …’

2.      How do they talk? You may practice in groups and then act out the dialogue.

3.      OK. You learned the dialogue very well.

Step 3 Presentation

1.      Now let’s try to know more on the menu.

2.      What food and drinks can you ‘see’ on the menu? You may discuss in groups in one minute. The more, the better.

3.      Let’s look at the menu here. Who’d like to be a little teacher?

4.      The food and drinks are different. How to use them properly?

This is a hamburger. And now there are five hamburgers.

But we can’t say ‘a tea’. We should say a cup of tea or some tea.

Because ‘hamburger’ is a countable noun, but ‘tea’ is an uncountable noun.

The words of drinks are uncountable nouns.

Some words of food are uncountable nouns, too.

5.      Play a game: Magic eyes

Shall we play another game now? Look, I have some pictures. I’ll show you the pictures one by one. Can you say the words as quickly as you can?

6.      You did a good job.

Step 4 Fun time

1.      Look at the children. They’re playing a game about how to order food.

2.      Think it over. What does the waitress say? What about the customer?

3.      Who’d like to play the game with me?

4.      Can you play the game in groups?

Step 5 Cartoom time

1.      We are happy to play games. How about Bobby and Sam? After climbing, they look hungry very much. So they go to the snack bar.

2.      What would they like? Can you imagine?

3.      What do they order at the snack bar? They are too scared at last. What have they got? Let’s watch the cartoon.

4.      What have they got?

5.      Bobby says ‘What a big egg!’ What can Sam say? Can you imagine?

6.      The story is very interesting. Now, it’s time for reading. Firstly, you should read by yourself. And then, you may act the story in groups. Are you clear?

7.      Bobby and Sam are still hungry. They decide to order food again. What would they like this time? Would you please make a new dialogue with your partner?

8.      Your stories are so exciting. Time is up. You may act them out after class.

Step 6 Homework

1. Listen, read and act the story of Cartoon time with your parents.

2. Finish the story and act it out.

3. Try to say more words about food and drinks.
