一、教学目标

3. 能在所给情境中综合运用所学单词和句型。

二、教学重点

五、教学过程

Step 1 Preparation

Hello, boys and girls. I’m your new English teacher today. May I know your names? How are you? Nice to meet you.

I know some of your English names. Do you want to know my name? Look, my English name is Judy. And I have some hobbies. I like flying kites in the park. Do you like flying kites? Shall we go to the park? How do we go there?

And I like watching pandas, going shopping and seeing plays.

Now can you give some suggestions?

Let’s go to the theatre with David and Nancy.

Now let’s have a happy revision. Review the dialogue in groups of four.

Step 2 Presentation of Part B

1.      David and Nancy go to the theatre by taxi. They watch a short film about Nanjing. Do you want to watch the film?

2.      Look, here are the pictures in the film. In Picture 1, what’s this?

What about the other pictures? Talk in groups.

What do you know?

Now let’s read the words after the recording.

   Let’s play a game. What’s missing?

3.      Let’s play another game.

Shall we go to Shanghai on foot? How do we go to Shanghai?

Let’s talk like this. Talk in pairs.

Step 3 Presentation of Part C

1.      I’m hungry. Shall we go to the supermarket? Look at this boy. Is he hungry? Let’s listen. What suggestions can you give him?

What about the other people? Listen to them and give suggestions.

They want to go to different places. How do they go there? Now look at the pictures and talk in pairs.

2.      Now let’s sing a song.

Step 4 Presentation of Part D

1.      (Sing) Shall we go to Shanghai by train? Shall we go to Shanghai by train? Shall we go to Shanghai by train? Shall we go there by train?

Look, this man wants to go to Shanghai, too. He has a question. Who can read it? What does the woman answer?

2.      Look, this woman wants to go to the airport. What is she asking? What does the woman answer?

3.      Look at the two pictures and work in pairs.

Step 5 Look, find and complete

You can listen well, speak well and read well. Can you write well? Let’s do some exercises.

The second Youth Olympic Games will be held in Nanjing in 2014. So many foreigners will come to Nanjing. Nanjing needs a lot of volunteers to help these foreigners. Do you want to be a volunteer?

七、教后记

本节课亮点一:从南京各个地点的图片整体导入单词,集中学习。而不是每个单词都创设一个情境,分散着教。

本节课亮点二:将全班分成四组,在黑板上画出四个跑道,每组一辆小汽车,进行比赛。这个课堂评价和教学内容相结合,也比较简单易行,能调动学生的积极性。

本节课亮点三:在任务环节,我想到了2014年将在南京举办的青奥会,让学生给外国朋友提建议,这个活动和生活相联系,也将英语课堂拓展得更宽,更远。
