一、教学内容:
6B.Unit5 A部分:Listen, read and say.
二、教学目标:
1.能听、说、读、写单词:spring, summer, autumn, winter, season, next, weather ,best。
2.能听、说、读日常交际用语:What’s the weather like …? Which season do you like best? Why? Because…
3.能听、说、读单词和词组:rain, cool, windy, warm,  countryside, most of the time, the best season, make snowmen。
4.能理解课文内容并较熟练的朗读课文。
5.学会用整体粗读、部分细读的方法快速获取语篇信息,并能借助图片或关键词对语篇进行结构把握。
三、教学重、难点:
重点:能在语篇中初步理解询问天气的用语,并能在语言输出中初步运用。
难点:对于四季不同天气的正确理解与表达。
四、教学准备:
1、学案(课前发)
2、多媒体课件。
3、黑板上画好一大一小两个同心圆。
五、教学过程:
Step1 Lead in.
1)T: Everyday English.
2)T: Who’s turn to do the report?
3)A student comes to the blackboard and does the report. The others listen to it.
  The student asks two questions and the others answer.
4)T:What day is it today? What date is it today? What’s the weather like today?(结合当天天气学习sunny 和windy,因为天气类单词渗透较早,所以此处只需一带而过。)
Step 2 Presentation
1.T:Today is a sunny day.Although it’s windy, it’s warm. 学习单词warm
  It’s getting warmer and warmer. Because it’s spring. 学习单词spring
  But most of the time, it is a little cold in early spring in Liyang. 学习most 和most of the time .
2.And spring is very short. Anyway I like spring best.学习单词best
  Do you know why? Because spring is the season of growth for everything, including you ,so you should do more exercise and you can grow tall and strong.学习单词season

4.How many seasons are there in a year?

9.T: A moment ago , we talked about the weather in Liyang. And we know the weather in different places are different. For example, the weather in Liyang in winter is very cold, but in Guangzhou it isn’t cold.So let’s discuss the weather in another place.(出示纽约图) Where is it?
10.Yeah, we’ll discuss the weather in New York. But who wants to know the weather in New York.Why? Let’s listen and answer.(出示问题)
11.Su Yang is asking Ben the questions.Let’s watch and choose the right order of the seasons they talk about.
T: They talk about summer first, and autumn , then spring ,the last one is winter. How did Su Yang ask Ben the weather there in summer?Can you find the question?

Step 3 Drill and practice
1.Read the passage
2.Now SuYang knows the seasons in New York. She wants to tell her father about it. So let help her to complete the sentences.(课本39页)
3.Check the answers and read it.
4.Su Yang knows the seasons in New York, we know it , too. So let’s look at the blackboard and say the seasons in New York.

Step 4 Consolidation
You know the seasons in New York very well. And our friend Tom doesn’t know the seasons in Liyang. But he wants to come here, now you should tell him the seasons in Liyang.(Topic)

1.Listen to the tape and try to recite.
