T: What will we learn today? Look at the screen.

S: Summer holiday plans.

T: Yes. Summer holiday is coming. It’s a good chance to go travelling. What’s your plan? Where will you go?

S: I’ll go to...

T: You’ll have a good time./ Hope you enjoy your trip./ Fantastic! Share your photos with us. OK?

Presentation:

1 Game time

1) T: Many of us will go travelling this summer holiday . There are many famous places in different countries. Look at them.

2) T: Do you know them?

3) T: Let’s have a summary. You’ll find ...in China/ the UK/ Australia/ the USA.

2 Culture time

1) Learn in groups.

T: Let’s learn in four. There are two steps. At first, learn to read and then share more knowledge about the places.

2) T: Let me check. Can you read? Read after the tape.

3) Know more.

T: Now you know them. Let’s learn more. Listen and watch.

3 Cartoon time

1) T:Look at the picture, what are they doing? Listen and find the answer in the cartoon.

   S: They are talking about Bobby’s travel plan.

   T: Sam wants to know his plan.Read in pairs and try to find the questions and answers.

   (Check) (Write on the blackboard.)

2) Listen and repeat and try to imitate.

3) T: Bobby will go to the UK by taxi. What will Sam say?

   S( Answer)

   T: Do you think Bobby can go to the UK by taxi or not? Why?

   S(Answer)

   T: In fact, the continents of Europe and Asia connected together. But it takes much time to go by taxi. So perhaps it’s not realistic.

4) T: Next let’s act it in three.

4 Writing time

1) T: Now we know Bobby’s travel plan. Summer holiday is coming. I want to go travelling too. Do you want to know the details? Ask me some questions.

2) T: It’s your turn. Please take out your cards and write down your plan.

5 Sharing time

T: Please share your plan with your classmate or the teachers here. Don;t tell them directly. Let them ask you.
