Teaching procedures 教学过程:

Step1 Free talk

1.      I’m your new English teacher today. Nice to meet you.

How are you? Do you like playing games?

2. Let’s play a guessing game.

Step2 Pre-reading

1. Read and guess: What place is it?

1) school

2) classroom

3) forest

2. Teach: forest.

Look at the picture of the forest, what’s in the forest?

You see, there are many trees.

Look, what else are in the forest?

You can say like this: There’s a … There are some…

S: There’ re some birds in the forest.

S: There’re some mushrooms in the forest.

3. Look, there’s a girl. Her name is Goldilocks.

Follow me, Goldilocks

And there’s a house in front of her.

So today we are going to read a story about a girl and a house.

What will happen next? Can you try to predict? To make it easier, let me give you some choices.

A.     The house is Goldilocks’.

B.     Goldilocks sees many things in the house.

C.    Goldilocks is happy today.

Are they right?

Firstly, let’s watch the cartoon of the story.

Step 3 While-reading

1. (回到选项上来)

A. The house is Goldilocks’.

T: True or False?

S: False.

T: Whose house is it?

S: It’s the three bears’ house.

2. B. Goldilocks sees many things in the house.

T: What about this?

S: It’s true.

T: She sees many things in the house. What’s in the house?

   What does she do in the house?

   Please read the story and try to find the answer.

S: 学生自己读课文。

3. What’s in the house?

S: There’s some soup. (Teach: soup)

   There’re three beds.

   There’re three bears.

T: 板书(三幅图)

 

4. Let’s look at the soup at first. There’s some soup on the table.

What about the soup?

S: This soup is too cold.

  This soup is too hot.

This soup is just right. (Teach: just right)

Follow the tape

T: Who can act?

 1-2位孩子演一演。

5. What about the three beds?

Look, hard, soft, just right.

Who can try?

S: This bed is too hard. This bed is too soft. This bed is just right.

  Follow the tape.

1-2位孩子演一演。

6. There are three bears in front of her. (Teach: in front of)

S: Follow the tape.

7. What does Goldilocks do in the house? Does she do housework?

  Does she do her homework?

S: No, she eats the soup and sleeps.

8. We know the house is the three bears’ . There’s some soup, three beds and three bears in the house.

What about this one? She is happy today.

S: No.

T: How is she?

S: Goldilocks is happy.     Goldilocks is hungry and thirsty.

   Goldilocks is tired.     Goldilocks is afraid. (板书)

T: afraid (why..?)

So she isn't happy all day. She’s happy to see a house. Then she feels hungry, thirsty and tired. So this one is wrong.

 

9. That’s the whole story. Let’s read it after the tape.

This time, try to read it by yourselves or in groups.

10. Do you remember the story?

Look at the picture and try to say the story together.

Step 4  After-reading

1.      You see, in the end , she is afraid. So she runs away. Do you like the ending of the story?

2.      Let’s make it happy, well, the h next day, Goldilocks and her friends go to visit the house again. What will happen to them? Discuss in groups and make a new dialogue.

3.      Act out the new dialogue.

Step 5  Homework

1.Read the story.

2.Try to tell this story to your friends.

3.Read more English stories after school.
