I go to school by car every day. How do you go to school?

What time do you go to school?

Step 2 Revision

1.    Do you remember what time Mike goes to school in Part A? Let’s review.

What time does Mike go to school? At …

And what time does he come home in the afternoon? At …

Yes, you learned well.

Step 3 Learn to say the numbers

1.    Look here. Seven, forty, four and fifteen are all ‘numbers’. In the past, we’ve learned some numbers. Let’s review first. 1-12

OK, let’s play a game ‘Quick response’. Please try to say the car numbers or telephone numbers.

2.    You say the numbers correctly and quickly. Can you read these numbers? Do you find something special? Yes, they have the same part ‘teen’. It’s pronounced /ti:n/. Read after me, please.

3.    Good job. How about these numbers? Can you read? Yes, you’re right. Pay attention to ‘ty’.

7.     Oh, it’s time for games. Shall we play the game ‘Magic eyes’? Are you ready? Let’s go.

8.     Now, we can see the numbers 11 and 10. It means the time is eleven ten. How about next one?

Firstly, I’ll give you a model. Do you want to know the time I do the things? You may ask me ‘Excuse me, Tina. What time do you …?’ If you ask me correctly, I’ll tell you. Who can ask me?

2.    Do you understand how to do the survey? It’s your turn. Please work in groups, ask the questions and write down the time on page…
