Step1 Warming-up and Self-introduction
T: Hello, my name is May. I’m your teacher for this lesson. Nice to meet you.
T: I am very happy to meet you, so today I bring you something. Look, what’s this?

Step 2 Sing a song+ review the text+ new words

Step 4 Practice (Part C+ Part D)
T: Good! Now look, there’re some pictures here. We’ll talk about them. Here’s a model. Read it first.(读第一幅图,出语法提示)
Can you look at the pictures and make a dialogue for each picture like this?
T: Good!Now can you describe these pictures using in/on/near? For example: Look, there are some books in the bookcases.
T: Now let’s have a competition between boys and girls. I will give you some more pictures, you’ll have to say something using on/in/near, the more the better. The picture with a star means you can describe it in different ways. Now prepare in your groups.
Step 5 Activity
T: OK. Boys and girls, Ben’s school has their Open Day, your school has your Open Day, and English schools have their Open Day, too. Shall we go and have a look? It’s not big but very nice, isn’t it? There’re some desks and chairs, and some pictures near the window, too. Let’s come to the teacher’s office. Look, the teachers are talking. There’s a computer on the teacher’s desk. And here’s our library. What’s in the library? Can you tell me? )
T: So what’s in their library?
T: Good! So you see English schools are different from Chinese schools. So what kind of school do you like? If you are the principle, how would you design the rooms? Now I will give each group a picture of a room. And you’ll have to design them, and then describe your rooms. And I will give them to the headmaster, maybe he/she will love your ideas.
