Step1. Free talk and Warm up
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you
S:Fine/Super…
T:Do you like English?
S:Yes.
T: We learned a lot this term. What can you say?
S: I can say….(学生会说到的句子、单词、对话等)
T:Wow, you know some words, some sentences, even some story.That’s excellent. Look, what are these words, sentences made by?
S: letters.
T:Yes, letters are very important .Today let’s join the letter family.
Step2 .Process
A.能听懂、会读字母
1.sing letter song
T:Look , these letter babies are very happy to see us. They are singing a song .Let’s join to sing .OK?
S:OK.
(学生一起跟唱字母歌)——整体呈现26个字母,进入字母的游戏活动中
T:Where are the letter babies now? Aha, they are here in the bag. They want to come out to play with you. Would you like to invite them?Follow me like this.
(全班开火车,轮流在袋子里摸一张字母卡片,向全班展示并读一读。此活动比较适合小班化学校)
T: Well, everybody has a letter friend now. Let’s sing the letter song again with your letter friends. Sing(根据手上拿的字母,接龙唱这首字母歌。即唱到哪个字母拿这个字母的同学就站起来)
2. Listen and stand.
T: Stand up when you hear the letter you hold. Then cometothe blackboard. Stand in a line.(首先老师示范,报若干字母,拿这些字母牌的同学要马上按顺序站在讲台上。大家再一起认一认,读一读)
T: Now a little hard.Listen, when I say “C”, the students who get “DEFG” stand and come out. (根据老师所说的字母,拿后面四个或者前面四个字母的同学起立)——锻炼学生听字母,并快速背字母的能力
3.Colour the letter
T:Now colour your letter babies beautifully.(发给学生一张印有26个字母的纸,让学生根据所听到的字母和颜色完成)
T: Colour the letter “P” green./What’s this? It’s a red “K”/…(用不同的语言句型,说出字母和颜色。)——将涂色和听字母结合,并融入了平时学的句型,学生的听不再单一。
B.能认识、会说字母
1.Match the Letter Mummy and baby
(让学生拿出课前制作好的大写字母卡片和小写字母卡片——每组做一套,打乱顺序,看哪组在最快的时间能够将这26个字母大小写卡片配对摆放在桌上)
T:Now take out your letter cards. Put on the desk and mix them up. Let’s see who can match the capital letter and the small letter in the shortest time.——锻炼学生认字母,识别大小写字母
2. Look and say
T: Now look at the screen, say the letter you see.
S:h-i, n-i-c-e, c-a-k-e…
T:Do you know these words? ——通过快速说字母的游戏,将单词的拼写结合起来
3.Know the vowels 了解元音字母
T: In the letter family, some letters are very special. Their names are vowels. Do you know who they are ?
S:a, e, i , o , u
T:Please circle them at the beginning of these worlds.(PPT上给出单词:apple, orange, icecream, egg, umbrella)

C.能会写字母
1.Pass and write the letter
(老师给每组最后一排同学一组字母,如AJGL。开火车在前面一个同学的背上书写,尤第一个同学书写到黑板上。)
2.在四线格内,按要求写字母
如:写出小写字母占上中两格的字母,写出小写字母占中下两格的字母,写出小写字母占上中下三格的字母。
3.字母谜语——通过猜谜语,练习写字母
